history is written by the victors, let's get to work

Nothing much going on these few days...seriously to go out would be like oxygen to me, cuz I'm dying in my house. Well at least I've kept myself preoccupied with swimming(1+hr everyday) and some light reading(newsweek IS light read), but really how long can one spend on those two activities? Can't touch the xbox or wii cuz my hand's aching, for I wanna preserve it till JC(maybe for the rest of my life?XD) So you put all those factors into the equation, and you'll get a lost soul roaming around the house scouring for anything engaging to do.

My life is further exacerbated by this jaw-dropping analysis:
LONDON — Here's a new warning from health experts: Sitting is deadly. Scientists are increasingly warning that sitting for prolonged periods – even if you also exercise regularly – could be bad for your health. And it doesn't matter where the sitting takes place – at the office, at school, in the car or before a computer or TV – just the overall number of hours it occurs.

Research is preliminary, but several studies suggest people who spend most of their days sitting are more likely to be fat, have a heart attack or even die.

Elah! What an irony it is to be sitting and reading this eh?

C'mon JC plzzzz...can't wait anymore. Doesn't matter if I end up regretting starting school, especially with all that immense stress. Just allow me to DO SOMETHING! Solitary confinement ain't exactly the best way to nuture a teen right?

That is all, people. I have no qualms about my short post cuz really, what else is there to say? Cheeros

Decisions can cause incisions...on you

Before you guys start implying that I'm all frustrated about the choices of pre-u education, I would like to repudiate that 'fact'. Actually I'm rather confident about my choices, 'cause boy do the prospects look good for me. Yet you may be wondering why 'rather' and not 'wholly', 'totally' or 'hook line and sinker'. Well there is this slight possibility of actually NOT entering the JC of your choice.(1st choice, that is), so I don't want my confidence level to transcend that of now, else the backlash will be devastating. (Geez sounds like GP)

Yup I'm definitely looking forward to the JC experience. Sure it can be very gruelling, with the immense amount of workload and the pressure to 'ace the As'. But hey, there will still be enjoyable activities to do, new social circles to be made(old ones to be preserved), though not as radical of a change as compared to the poly experience. Neither too studious nor carefree, it's rather ideal to me.

Reading up a hell lot on current affairs(and history) plus a bit of economics(demand and supply baby) and bits of unexplored content from our secondary school syllabus(does 'transcription and translocation' ring any bells?). Nerdy as this may sound, I'm just being pragmatic, for the idea of getting a head start is fulfilling. Anyway today wasn't that productive, cuz wei guang, clement and me spammed 5hrs of halo 3, battling one another and finally taking the battle to the USA players. Won 2 out of 6 games(not bad, especially for wg and clem who had their first taste of xbox online gaming). Fun, just plain fun.

Alright cheers! Oh and have a very gratifying 2 weeks!

Arghh...Where was I when this blog needed revitalisation?

Ok 1 month has almost passed since my last post...sorry was overwhelmed with loads of stuff...kinda ironic for a guy who complains about doing nothing.

Well I've been rather busy with 2 batman-related things: The comic and the game. For my 'art', you could say I'm making good progress after weeks of digress. The xbox 360 game is real entertainment, caleed batman: Arkham Asylum. Geez, with so much obsession with the cape crusader one would think I'm worshipping him, but no, I'm no crazy man, no Joker. Still have remnants of sanity in me. XD

Damn have been reading up alot, whether it's the news or newsweek...ok not much difference there. But I'm not doing it for the sake of excelling in GP, no that's secondary. I just enjoy gaining deep insights about current affairs, examining different perspectives or even different sides to the story. Plus my idol Prez Obama always appears in any newsweek, so yah that's captivating enough.

Class chalet tomorrow! Phew at least not at my house! XD Seriously I know you guys probably had loads of fun but I admit I got rather worked up before you guys even came into close proximity of my condo! Well I hope the success rate for tomorrow would transcend that of the class gathering at my condo.

Argh results day...why couldn't they just give the results via the net? So much more convenient, plus it elimintates the anxiety factor. I mean, anxiety is like a virulent disease, once someone caught it, you can forget about any remedy. Then as they slowly announce the names of the 'elite' cohort, your confidence too begans to plumment as the remain immobile for your name never appears...horrifying, intimidating...just plain scary.

Alright now I'll end the post on the lighter side. I'm still here. You, the reader, are still here. the year is 2010. Go make the best out of the new decade.

Cheers!

AWOL(Away WITH Official Leave)

Dang I'm gonna have to endure 30+ hours of non-stop flight and transit waiting...Damn.

Anyway I'll be heading off to MIA(moscow international airport) then finally to the Americas, so yah Gotta prime myself for (un)economy class seats and the 'fragrant' detergent. Documenting my trip will be done on this blog, so no worries, the blog ain't dead till I say so.(er, didn't I just say that?)

OK have to get on the taxi now. Bye!

The more things change, the more they stay the same

What up people? I've been spending these few days cooped up at home having no real reason to step my foot outside my apartment. Really, although the things I do can change, whether it's drawing comics or exercising(I do some sit-ups and push-ups but that's about it),the more things stay the same; I'm still at home. That is what I meant.

Don't get me wrong, not that I'm a loner and have tasted enough salvation. A majority of my pals are working, plus certain activities require more than one person to be fully enjoyable(imagine me alone catching a movie). I don't blame them, çause I myself couldn't clinch a job, so it's more of a KS-made disaster.(what a way to put it) At least this sun I'm going ice-skating, and yes Xin Wei I too am a 'virgin'to it. If you fall, know that not too far away someone else would receive a bump to his bum. Bummer

Geez I'm only halfway through chapter 2 guys, so kinda drawing at snail pace. Not that I'm taking my time to complete it, but it's that extraordinarily complicated batman armour. Man it takes me half an hour to complete one body. Multiply that timing by the number of time batman appears and you have one very irritated and on-the-brink-of-going-nuts artist. I haven't given up, not at all, just be patient.

Well this is the new month of December, and I bet many of us are heading off to their vacations soon. Just like to wish everyone a safe trip and get your H1N1 jab.(Yes it is important. And no, H1N1 is not dead)Will be flying off myself on the 10th. Where exactly you'll find out by the pics I'll be posting. Remember, whether it's Malaysia or Europe, what a vacation essentially draws down to is that you have a ball.

Sayonara!

Out

That single word basically sums up my weekend. Firstly on sat I and my mum went out to the Singapore Expo for the IT show. As always, the heaps, piles and mountains of people began to fill any walking space in the hall, and before I knew it the human flood had washed me away, nothing but mere mortals surrounding me. Anyway, bought a 3-in-1 printer at half the price woo!(My mom made the purchase and it is for her, so yeah). Then something unexpected happen: I saw some familiar faces holding up M1 placards, and who would've guessed to see zhiye and shiya as those faces! They both were with their clique, but man what a phenomenon! Me and zhiye's shocked faces met and we said hi before heading off. XD

Went to JP later to get haircut, shyt still looked like last time with the new haircut. Coming back round 6, I could not pry my eyes open(left about 9)and zzz...

Today I tried to make pasta! Went out to get some ingredients, taught sis some physics(can you see the light?) and during lunchtime got my hands dirty. hehehe... I'd say my cooking was a success(with help from family of course, and before I knew it we devoured the food(toook quite a while to cook, starving my family in the process) and savoured every strand of pasta. Yum!

Well can't type much left(have to get working on my comic!) Shing Hei, Class Outing man! I want it badly(or any other activities that can (temporarily) expel me from my house. Still, I have activities to keep me engaged and not stare stupefied at ceiling.

Ok time's up. Ciao people

The advent of 'my space'

Hi people this is my second time starting up a blog, so I've gained much experience myself. Rule of thumb: If you can't commit, don't. That was what happened for my previous blog, so it was scrapped, destroyed, decimated...whatever you wanna call it. Let this be a refreshing start alright?

Speaking of commitment I'm currently working on a comic, which definitely needs long-term resolution to complete. Here's the laydown:
A sequel to 'the dark knight', it will be my version of what happens to Batman, the Joker, the police force and our dear city Gotham. Try to catch the movie to fully understand and appreciate my 'artwork' as you'd be utterly confused at the end. Still on the first chapter, but I shall speed up no worries. Preview of chapters:
1)Safe Haven
2)Friend or Foe?
3)Intensive care
4)Man of my word
5)Early release
6)Standstill

Rest coming, rest assured!

Anyway had an enjoyable time. Went out and taught my sis chemistry! That would be my work because I'm going off on a holiday soon, so the agency cannot find a very temporary job for me. Anyway re-visiting the good ol' content can be fun. Later went out to Kbox with both my sis and mum, sang like hell! But again, many songs, little time(I still prefer the one at SAFRA more modern and comfortable)

Me, gladwin, Liang yueh and our HK friend Shing Hei had some quality time with four rackets and a shuttlecock. Being exhausted, I still did not see how I managed a game of basketball after 1hr 40mins of non-stop swatting. XD Still I had a great time though, thanks for the outing guys!

Life after the O's can be boring, but if you have a purpose and desire an outcome everyday, trust me, life can be fulfilling. I've learned it the hard way, having spent the 1st week totally in disarray.

Alright I wanna go for class outing! Will keep in touch with fellow classmates that way!

GG saw this while researching on the funnyman.
